For $55 this is a 5-star case. One of the best I’ve used, which is why I am going so in-depth with my review.
First, the microfiber material on the inside is just like what you get on the official Apple case, so it protects the iPhone 12 Pro Max from scratches on the inside.
The leather on the outside, meanwhile, has a nice satin finish to it. It’s not really smooth like the Apple case, which means it has a lot of grip to it. Still feels and looks premium though. Note that the case also fully covers the buttons, protecting the buttons from scratches and making them a bit more clicky, which I prefer. Overtime, I expect the buttons will get looser though, as the leather breaks in.
Now, for the fit. The bottom of the iPhone is fully exposed when the case is on. I like it because it shows off the squared design of the iPhone. There’s also lots of room to flip the mute switch, too. Another note is that there’s a raised lip for the camera bump and the front of the phone. It protects it a bit in case of drops, though I haven’t dropped my phone yet. All in all, with all this in combination, it definitely doesn’t feel cheap like the $10 knock-offs on Amazon. This is high-quality stuff.
As for the card storage, it’s certified to fit 2-3, but I was able to squeeze in more than that. I fit my Driver’s License, my Credit Card, as well as my Metrocard for the trains in NYC, plus some spare folded up cash. It fits almost everything I carry in my wallet, so don’t think I’ll need my wallet anymore. I noticed the stitching on the wallet is very solid. It doesn’t look like it’ll get pulled off with repeated use. So far in three days, I’ve had no issues with any of the experience with putting things inside and out of the wallet.
Finally, some notes on the overall feel of the case and QI charging. It doesn’t add too much weight to the iPhone 12. It makes your iPhone look stylish, but it also keeps down the weight, too. Almost feels like you’re holding a bare naked iPhone! QI charging works when the wallet is empty, too. If you’re into that stuff.
All in all, this case is Super super cool and I highly suggest it!
